SCREEN PRINTING
What is screen printing?
Screen Printing is where Ink is applied directly to the
garment by using a Squeege and a Screen.
With Screen Printing
each colour uses a specific “Screen” that the ink
passes through and onto the garment.
Some shirts use multiple colours but the down
side of screen printing is that each colour has a set-up
cost.
Bj's has the ability to screen print your garments in
single or multiple colour prints. For every job we do,
we evaluate how we will produce the garment giving you
the options that provide the best printed result as well
as best price option.
How is it priced? Screen printing is priced based upon
the number of colours that are used in your logo & how
many garments are to be printed. (eg. if you want to
keep the cost of your screen printing down, make sure to
limit the number of colours you use).
It is also important to note that there is a minimum of
20 items per screen printed design, in addition to a
once-off artwork charge associated with screen printing.
The more you order the cheaper it becomes- so buy in
bulk and save!

ARTWORK AND SCREEN SET-UP
All new designs to be printed require an ARTWORK and
SCREEN SET-UP. All first time orders or modifications
require a screen template to be created of your print
design. There is no screen set-up charged for repeat
orders.
Artwork is to be supplied to us in the following
formats:
- CDR (CorelDraw)
- EPS (with layers)
- PDF (curves converted)
If your design isn't available in these formats, artwork
reproduction from rough copy, letterheads, business
cards, JPEGs or BMPs will be quoted additionally.
While all care is taken, please be aware variations in
colour matching, bleeding and opacity can occur due to
many types of garment materials, print designs and print
colours.
